Major Milestones!
The White Salmon Valley Pool Metropolitan Park District (WSVPMPD) has reached a series of major milestones, moving the long-anticipated community pool project significantly closer to construction.

“Over the past several months, the project has gained strong momentum through a combination of public funding, community support, and critical pre-construction progress,” said a news release.

More than $1 million has been raised through state and community support in the last six months — $500,000 in state funding and $528,000 in donations, with Steve and Diane Maier jumpstarting the local fundraising campaign with a challenge match.
