We’re pleased to share that the White Salmon Valley Pool project has been awarded $500,000 through Washington State’s Local and Community Projects (Local Priorities) capital budget, signed into law in early April.
This funding is an important step forward and reflects strong support for the project at the state level. It adds to the momentum we’ve been building locally - including the recently completed Jump-In fundraising challenge - and helps move us closer to construction.
Thanks to our District 17 legislators - Paul Harris, Kevin Waters, and David Stuebe - for supporting our efforts to secure some State level funding!
We’re also grateful to our local government partners and to everyone in the community continuing to push this project forward.
